Library of memories
I'm trying to forget
Get my mind straight
Remind myself
Make it disappear

As the cool breeze hits my hand where yours once lay

Generally life's so busy
I'm trying to pretend
Get my life straight
Remind myself
Make it disappear

As the cool breeze hits my hand where yours once lay
I can't help remembering the times we shared before you went away

Ooooo's

Many years
And two cities
I'm trying unlearn
Get my life straight and
Remind myself
Make it disappear

As the cool breeze hits my hand where yours once lay
I can't help remembering the times we shared before you went away
As the cool breeze hits my hand where yours once lay
I can't help remembering the times we shared before you went away

As the cool breeze hits my hand where once lay
A couple of years ago I was coming home from university late one night. I was waiting for a taxi at the bus station when a car full of guys drove past me and slowed down. The taxi didn't see me and drove right down to the other end of the street. In the time it took for the taxi to come back, one of the guys from the car came back on foot. He hit me with a closed fist a couple of times and took off with my bag. In that bag was my house keys....
Verse 1
It was dark
I was alone
All asleep
No one home
The taxi drove
Straight past me
Could have helped
Could have saved me ooo ooo oo

Chorus
You probably don’t even remember my face
I cried all the way home that day
You probably don’t even remember why you did it
But you stole my keys and you took my tomorrow
You took my tomorrow

Verse 2
All this time
I was thinking
It’s my fault
And I believed him
I find myself
Looking over my shoulder
Short of breathe
I should have saved myself oooh oh oh

Chorus
You probably don’t even remember my face
I cried all the way home that day
You probably don’t even remember why you did it
But you stole my keys and you took my tomorrow
You took my tomorrow

Heyee hey heyee hey oo oo ooo

You probably don’t even remember my face
I cried all the way home that day
You probably don’t even remember why you did it
But you stole my keys and you took my tomorrow
You took my tomorrow
You took my tomorrow
You took my tomorrow…...

Verse 1
Did you read the fine print written on the label?
Did you skim the surface or read the contents table
Cause everything’s changing and you’re always playing so cool
Cause everything’s changing and you’re always playing so cool
So cool

Chorus
Will you let him whisper in your ear like a fool, no no
I wonder if they’ll linger longer than they should

Verse 2
Did you notice this window’s translucent
Can you open to see what’s beyond this
Cause everything’s changing and you’re always playing so cool
Cause everything’s changing and you’re always playing so cool
So cool

Chorus
Will you let him whisper in your ear like a fool
No no
I wonder if they’ll linger longer than they should
Will you let him whisper in your like a fool
No no
I wonder if they’ll linger longer than they should

Wonder if they’ll linger longer than they should
Wonder if they’ll linger longer than they should

Outro
Did you read the fine print
